American Off-Road Customs provides suspension repair and diagnosis in Las Vegas for Jeeps, trucks, Broncos and Toyota 4x4s. From worn shocks, control arms and steering components to suspension problems on lifted and modified vehicles, our team can diagnose the problem and repair the components causing poor handling, noises, uneven tire wear or other suspension issues.
We work on both stock and modified 4x4s, including vehicles with aftermarket lift kits, coilovers, control arms and other suspension upgrades.
SIGNS YOUR JEEP OR TRUCK MAY NEED SUSPENSION REPAIR
Uneven or Excessive Tire Wear
Can be caused by worn suspension components, alignment problems or changes in suspension geometry.
Clunking, Popping or Squeaking Noises
Noises over bumps or while turning can indicate worn joints, bushings, control arms or other suspension components.
Vehicle Pulling or Wandering
If your Jeep or truck feels unstable, wanders on the road or requires constant steering correction, the suspension or steering should be inspected.
Excessive Bouncing or Poor Ride Quality
Worn shocks, struts or other suspension components can cause excessive movement and reduced control.
Vehicle Sitting Uneven or Sagging
A vehicle leaning or sitting lower on one corner can indicate a spring or suspension problem.
Shaking, Wobble or Steering Problems
Movement in suspension or steering components can contribute to shaking, poor handling and—in some Jeeps and trucks—death wobble.
Experiencing death wobble? Death wobble can have multiple causes and should be properly diagnosed rather than assuming one part will fix the problem. AORC can inspect the steering, suspension, tires and related components to identify worn or loose parts and determine what needs to be corrected.

AORC diagnoses and repairs suspension problems on stock, lifted and modified Jeeps, trucks, Broncos and Toyota 4x4s in Las Vegas. We inspect the suspension as a complete system to identify worn, damaged or loose components and determine what is actually causing the problem.

Suspension Setup & Geometry
Inspection of modified suspension geometry when poor handling, clearance or component setup may be contributing to the problem.
Already have an aftermarket suspension system installed? You don’t have to have purchased or installed it at AORC. We can inspect and repair modified suspension systems installed by another shop or a previous owner.
OFF-ROAD SHOCK & COILOVER REBUILD SERVICE
Have rebuildable off-road shocks or coilovers that are leaking, losing performance or due for service? AORC offers shock and coilover rebuild service, including removal, rebuild coordination and reinstallation.
OFF-ROAD SHOCK REBUILD SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS
Rebuildable off-road shocks and coilovers require periodic service to continue performing properly. If your shocks are leaking, feel noticeably softer, aren’t controlling the vehicle like they used to or are due for scheduled service, AORC can help.
We offer off-road shock and coilover rebuild service for Jeeps, trucks and modified 4x4s. Our team can remove the shocks or coilovers from your vehicle, coordinate the rebuild with our suspension specialist, and reinstall them once the service is complete.
Not sure whether your shocks need to be rebuilt or replaced? Bring the vehicle to us and we’ll help determine the best option based on the suspension setup, condition and how you use your 4×4.
WHY SUSPENSION REPAIR MATTERS
Your suspension does more than make your Jeep or truck ride comfortably. It helps control steering, handling, tire contact and vehicle stability. Worn or damaged suspension components can cause poor handling, uneven tire wear, noises and instability—and those problems can become worse as components continue to wear.
Modified 4x4s can require additional attention because lift kits, larger tires and aftermarket suspension components change the way the suspension and steering work together. AORC can inspect the complete setup to determine whether the problem is caused by worn factory components, aftermarket parts, improper setup or a combination of issues.
BETTER HANDLING & STABILITY
Repairing worn components helps restore predictable steering and vehicle control.
REDUCE UNEVEN TIRE WEAR
Suspension problems can contribute to abnormal tire wear and shorten the life of expensive off-road tires.
PROTECT OTHER COMPONENTS
Loose or worn suspension parts can place additional stress on steering, tires and other connected components.
KEEP MODIFIED 4X4s WORKING TOGETHER
Lift height, control arms, shocks, steering geometry, tires and alignment all affect one another. We look at the complete suspension and steering setup—not just one part.
Why Choose Us for Suspension Repair in Las Vegas?
Suspension problems aren’t always caused by one obvious component—especially on lifted and modified 4x4s. AORC works on both stock and modified Jeeps, trucks, Broncos and Toyotas, allowing us to diagnose the complete suspension and steering setup instead of treating every vehicle like it’s factory stock.
EXPERIENCE WITH MODIFIED 4X4s
We regularly work on lifted and modified vehicles with aftermarket suspension, steering and larger tires.
DIAGNOSIS BEFORE PARTS
We inspect the vehicle to determine what’s actually causing the problem instead of replacing parts based on a guess.
REPAIR & ALIGNMENT IN ONE SHOP
When suspension repairs require alignment afterward, AORC can perform 4×4 alignments in-house.
COMPLETE 4X4 SERVICE
If we find related steering, axle, tire or drivetrain concerns during diagnosis, our team can help address the complete vehicle.
SUSPENSION REPAIR FAQS
How do I know if my Jeep or truck needs suspension repair?
Common signs include clunking or popping noises, uneven tire wear, excessive bouncing, wandering, poor handling, sagging or changes in steering feel. If something feels different, we can inspect the suspension and steering to determine what is worn, loose or damaged.
Can you diagnose suspension problems on lifted Jeeps and trucks?
Yes. AORC works on stock, lifted and heavily modified 4x4s, including vehicles with aftermarket control arms, shocks, coilovers, springs and other suspension components.
Can suspension problems cause death wobble?
Worn or loose suspension and steering components can contribute to death wobble, but there isn’t one universal cause. We inspect the complete front-end setup to identify the actual source of the problem before recommending repairs.
Do you replace shocks, control arms and ball joints?
Yes. We diagnose and replace worn or damaged suspension components including shocks, control arms, bushings, ball joints, springs and related components.
Can you repair suspension installed by another shop?
Yes. Your suspension does not have to have been installed by AORC. We can inspect aftermarket suspension systems installed by another shop or a previous owner and determine what needs to be repaired or corrected.
Do I need an alignment after suspension repair?
It depends on which components were repaired or replaced. If the repair affects suspension or steering geometry, an alignment may be recommended, and AORC performs 4×4 alignments in-house.
Do you work on stock suspension too?
Yes. AORC works on both stock and modified Jeeps, trucks, Broncos and Toyota 4x4s. You don’t need to have a lifted or heavily modified vehicle to bring it to us for suspension diagnosis or repair.
Do you rebuild off-road shocks and coilovers?
Yes. AORC offers rebuild service for rebuildable off-road shocks and coilovers. We handle removal, coordinate the rebuild with our suspension specialist, and reinstall them when completed. Contact us with your shock or coilover brand and vehicle information so we can determine the appropriate service.
